In 2007, I had my first book called: “New York love stories”. The book came out from a series of my love story written on my blog. It is my first love which happened in New York when I was still in college. The story was divided into 50 parts on my blog. It was just something for fun and for sharing at first. But then people started to hear about it and the number of the readers kept growing to tens of thousands each day. It became a phenomenon on the internet shortly before the story was even finished. I decided to collect all the parts and made it into a book in August 2007. The book then became number one best-selling by the end of 2007. It also generated a great controversy for people had never experienced such a way of “making a book”. They did not get used a “bloggy writing style” book which was published from just a blog and not written by a “proper author”. The book also marked its “distinguished trademark” by enclosing an audio CD inside each copy, and this had never happened before.
Within 3 years, “New York love stories” had reached its 5th edition until I decided to stop re-publishing it.
I had another book in 2009 called: “Không chỉ là blog, mà còn…” which means “It is not just about a blog, but also…” The book is a collection of my favorite entries on my Yahoo 360 blog in 3 years. They are mostly about my family, my travel, my photos and fun stories. The book was published as a gift for my beloved family and friends, followers who have supported me all these times. I only published it once with just 2000 copies. They are now ran out of stock in the market!
I may have lot more books in the future. Yet please shall understand I am not an “author”. I don’t write stuffs like a real “writer”. I just write blog with things about my life; things I have experienced; things I have been through…and the purpose is no more than just SHARING with people about this beautiful world where I am living in!
